Maryam Hemati - "Scottish Landscape 4"
MARYAM HEMATI
Maryam Hemati was born in Tehran, Iran. She is a Persian contemporary artist who lives and works in Scotland. She graduated with the bachelor’s in management of culture and art in Iran and she also will graduate from university of Dundee (DJCAD) with a BA in fine arts in 2022. She has participated in more than 19 group exhibits in Scotland, including Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and Gourmet Factory Art Gallery, and she was the illustrator for Mark Mulhearn's book "The Adventures of JC" in 2017. Furthermore, in 2018, she was the winner of the Craftex 2-Dimensional Artwork Prize at The Trades House in Glasgow.
Her distinctive personal style emanates joy and peace and expresses the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of the nature and tell us about picturesque landscapes, Scotland’s birds, flowers, towering mountains, glittering lochs, dense woodlands harmonious colours and bold compositions. As the artist explains, “I am a traveller in nature and art, and I welcome you to accompany me on this visual adventure.
